Our Tangelo Brightening Cleansing Butter is made specifically for oily skin types. It is infused with tangerine oil, which has been documented to reduce the appearance of pores and dry up excess sebum (oil) in the skin. The Vitamin C content that is naturally found in tangerine makes it the perfect astringent. It will make the skin brighter, eliminate acne, and fight off free radicals that are the cause of many common skin issues.
Tangerine pairs well with Aloe Vera because it is great for hydrating and contains humectants that help with moisturizing the skin. Humectants are known to increase water content in the skin, causing it to soften and appear smoother. As stated before, tangerine oil is an astringent which removes excess sebum and dries it out. Aloe goes back in with water to replace the moisture, without leaving your skin completely stripped.
